It is our great pleasure and honor to introduce community members, local business leaders and anyone interested in Chinese culture to our presentations on China-related topics. We will take you on a journey to explore this magnificent culture since its very beginning to the present day.
The Falun Dafa Association of New England is a non-profit organization based in the Greater Boston area, providing people in local communities with a better understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese culture. Over the years, the opportunities we offer have taken various forms. We started off with offering free workshops on Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong), which essentially is a form of meditation and exercises of the Buddha School that improves the body and mind. These exercises have brought better health and inner peace to millions around the world. Our recent initiatives include sponsoring a premier classical Chinese dance and music production called Shen Yun and the Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra. Both of these are the creation of Shen Yun Performing Arts, a non-profit organization based in New York with a mission to revive 5,000 years of Traditional Chinese culture.
Today, China and the rest of the world have become inseparable due to globalization. More and more people have neighbors, students, coworkers or business partners from China. This is why we offer presentations related to Traditional Chinese Culture to meet the needs of the general public's increasing interest in China. As China is developing, human rights in China remains a sensitive topic. Completely independent of the Chinese government, we provide a unique angle to help people understand what is happening in China. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
